Uniqueness of the new operating software of Microsoft, windows 7 ultimate, is that it does not carry a host of new features like its predecessors. Designers have rather focused more on the incremental upgrades to the existing window features. Reasons for such approach is that they do not want the end user suffer the inconveniences of incompatibility issues when they buy windows 7. This was one of the drawbacks that each of the new versions of Windows posed before the end users. In fact the windows 7 is compatible with almost all the hardware and features used in Windows Vista that came up three years earlier. Emphasis has been on multi touch support, windows shell that is redesigned, and a new taskbar with a home networking named the Home Group.
